As a lead pastor, I (Steve) was passionate about engaging our church in international work. Whenever one of our people expressed a call from God to invest in international ministries, I got all excited. My problem was that I didn't have enough bandwidth to competently steer them towards a good, trustworthy fit. As the executive leader of several nonprofits, I had travelled the globe meeting quality ministries run by trustworthy indigenous leaders. These ministries were accomplishing tremendous work but were limited by their lack of connections with donors in the US. 
 
As an agency leader and fundraising professional, I (Josiah) knew the giving process and structure necessary to help potential donors achieve the unique impact that they were called to, and maintain their trust.
