The kingdom orchard
The Kingdom Orchard exists to provide food assistance for malnourished children and adults in central Belize. Since 2020, food scarcity and unemployment have run rampant in the country.
Utilizing a farm to grow their own crops, the Kingdom Orchard provides healthy meals for schoolchildren and teachers each month. In recent years, food scarcity and unemployment have contributed to spiking domestic violence and school dropout rates. Adrian Bartley and his team have sought to combat this trend with a community feeding program.
In time, the farm will also provide job training programs for young men from Belize, to help address the unemployment challenges.
