Based in Kampala, Uganda, the Remnant Generation is a Ugandan led organization providing hope and healing for survivors of sexual abuse, teen pregnancy, child marriage, and trafficking.
Thousands of young teenage women in Uganda are survivors of sexual abuse and teen pregnancy each year. Because of the social stigma of teenage pregnancy, this often results in the abandonment of family and social circles – resulting in teenage homelessness for this vulnerable population.
The Remnant Generation has provided prevention, rescue, restoration, and equipping for over 7,000 girls in their 10-year history. These teens have received transitional housing, medical care, discipleship, counseling, education, and job training. However, the need remains, and they hope to be able to serve thousands more.
